Google vs Meta: Which Company Should You Join in 2026?

Compensation: Meta generally pays 10-15% more in total comp at equivalent levels, primarily through higher RSU grants. Google has more predictable refreshers. Both offer excellent benefits.
Culture: Google is more process-oriented with longer decision cycles. Meta moves fast — "move fast and break things" is less of a motto now but the speed is still real. If you thrive in ambiguity, Meta. If you prefer structure, Google.
