By downloading, installing, or using Interview AI Buddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Interview AI Buddy is a desktop application that provides real-time AI-generated assistance during job interviews. The App listens to audio via your system microphone, processes speech, and displays suggested answers on an overlay visible only to you.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the App to prepare for and participate in job interviews. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with the rules and policies of any platform, employer, or interviewer. We make no representation that use of the App is permitted in any specific context.
4. Account and Subscription
Access to the App requires a registered account. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. A 7-day free trial is included with each new account. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law or under our 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you are unsatisfied with the App within 30 days of your first paid charge, contact us at support@interviewaibuddy.com for a full refund. No questions asked.
6. Privacy and Data
Audio captured by the App is processed in real time and is never stored on our servers. We only retain aggregated usage counts (e.g., number of questions answered). Your interview content is never recorded or retained. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) resell, sublicense, or distribute the App; (c) use the App to engage in fraud or misrepresentation; (d) use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
8. Intellectual Property
Interview AI Buddy and all associated intellectual property are owned by the Company. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated answers will be accurate or appropriate for any specific interview. Use at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, damages arising from interview outcomes, or data loss.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
